General Metals, Inc. specializes in precision sheet metal fabrication and assembly. Those capabilities include shearing, CNC punching, stamping, forming, welding, finishing and assembly.
General Metals, Inc. can also provide engineering and design consultation, dock to stock programs, and worldwide shipping. With a traceability system in place, we have the ability to track all material and labor for each production order.
We offer a wide range of stamping capability. With nine presses and up to 200 tons of pressure we can provide consistent high volume production. These presses can process different shapes of material. Our machines can also process many different types of material. Our punching cell can perform secondary operations such as forming and number stamping. We also have a “cut to length” line for precut blanks up to 18” inches wide.

CNC Press Brake Capabilities
General Metals Inc. is equipped with CNC press brakes that allow us to meet rigid industry requirements. We currently have thirteen press brakes in our bending cell.
Consistent and uniform parts from one production run to the next.
With CNC technology our bending cell can hold tight tolerances and perform multiple bends in one setup. Our machines can hold bends to plus or minus half a degree as well as form offsets and hems.

We offer a wide variety of painting and plating services, such as Zinc (Clear & Yellow), Nickel, Silver, Tin, Copper etc., Anodize (Black, Blue, Red, Orange, Green, Gold, etc.) Chromate (Clear & Yellow) Passivation of stainless steel, powder paint - textured or smooth and silk-screening. General Metals, Inc. uses different types of software to design and interpret customer drawings. This allows our customers to email CAD drawings for a quote or production run. Our engineering department generates flat layouts from customer-approved drawings to use in manufacturing.
